Not everyone wants their personal number on file
A VNumbr number is a separate line you control, useful anywhere handing over your real number feels like the wrong trade.
Privacy-conscious signups
Hand a website or app a number that isn't your personal line, so cold calls, marketing texts and data-broker lists never reach the phone in your pocket.
Travelers and remote workers
Stay reachable for home-country banking, delivery and social apps wherever you're working from, without swapping a SIM card at every border.
Anyone splitting business from personal
Give a shop, a freelance practice or a WhatsApp Business account its own line, so client calls and texts never mix with your personal number.
Developers and small teams
Provision numbers, renew them and pull incoming SMS through a REST API, built for scripts and internal tools rather than a handset.
Built for numbers you actually keep
Real carrier numbers
Allocated from actual mobile networks, so they clear the checks that free and VoIP numbers fail.
Yours to keep
A permanent number, not a 10-minute rental. Renew it and it stays yours.
Live in seconds
Pay, and the number is active right away. Texts land in your dashboard in real time.
Fast, card-free checkout
Pay in seconds with Bitcoin, USDT or a wallet balance โ no card number to type into a browser.
Live in three steps
01
Pick a country
Browse what's in stock and choose the plan that suits you.
02

Use cases
What people keep a number for
Two-factor and recovery
Keep the number that guards an account alive for years, so a code is never sent into the void.
Privacy from data brokers
Hand websites a number that is not your personal SIM and keep marketing calls and leaks away from it.
A business line
Give a shop, a freelance practice or a WhatsApp Business account its own number in the customer's country.
A second account
Run another messaging or social account without a spare handset or a dual-SIM phone.
Living or working abroad
Receive texts from home-country services with a number you can read from any browser.
Automation via API
Buy, renew and read messages from your own software through a simple REST API.
A permanent number vs a temporary one
A typical single-use OTP number is built for one sign-up and is the wrong tool for an account you will log in to again.
| ย | VNumbr permanent | Temporary / OTP number |
|---|---|---|
| How long you keep it | As long as you renew: monthly or yearly | Minutes to a day, then it is gone |
| Receives later codes | Yes, every time you sign in again | No, the number has moved on |
| Who else can see the inbox | Only you | Often shared or reused by others |
| Number source | Real mobile network allocations | Often an internet-calling or shared pool |
| Good for account recovery | Yes | No |
| Cost profile | Flat monthly or yearly price | Cheap once, repeated every time |
Only need a number for one sign-up code? See VNumbr's OTP numbers.

What is a permanent virtual number?
It is a phone number that is assigned to your account and stays yours for as long as you keep renewing it. Unlike a one-time number, it can receive text messages again next week, next month or next year, which is what two-factor codes and account recovery need.
Are the numbers real or VoIP?
They are allocated on real mobile networks through our carrier partner rather than pulled from an internet-calling pool. That tends to help with services that filter VoIP ranges, but no provider can promise that every service will accept every number.
Do I need to show ID?
No, checkout doesn't currently require submitting any identity document. You sign up with an email address and pay in cryptocurrency or from your wallet balance.
How do I pay?
Checkout is crypto-only, through Cryptomus or NOWPayments, or from a wallet balance you have topped up in crypto. Bitcoin, USDT and many other coins are supported.
Can I make calls or send texts?
No. The numbers are built for receiving SMS. Calling and sending messages are not part of the service.
What happens if I stop renewing?
The number lapses at the end of the period and is eventually released, after which messages can no longer be received on it. Turn on auto-renew from your wallet balance if you want to keep it without thinking about it.
Monthly or yearly: which is cheaper?
The yearly plan. It is billed once for the year and works out lower per month than paying month by month, and every price we headline is that lower per-month figure.
