Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. The service

VNumbr provides virtual phone numbers sourced from real mobile carrier allocations, for receiving SMS — primarily for account verification and two-factor authentication. Two products are offered: permanent numbers, billed monthly or yearly and kept assigned to your account while you renew, and one-time OTP numbers, billed per activation and provisioned for a single verification code. The service does not include outbound calling or outbound SMS on either product. By creating an account and using VNumbr, you agree to these Terms.

OTP numbers are single-use: an activation is refunded in full if cancelled before it expires or if provisioning fails, but is not refunded if it expires with no SMS received and the provider accepts our cancellation — see the Refund Policy for the full breakdown, which differs from the refund terms for permanent numbers.

2. Payment

VNumbr accepts payment exclusively in supported cryptocurrencies via our payment processors, or from your wallet balance. All prices are quoted in USD. Cryptocurrency payments are final once confirmed on-chain and cannot be reversed by us.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use VNumbr numbers for illegal activity, harassment, fraud, spam, or to violate the terms of service of any third-party platform in a manner that causes harm to others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts found to be engaged in abuse.

4. Number availability and acceptance

Number inventory depends on our upstream carrier partner and can vary by country and area. We do not guarantee a specific number will remain available indefinitely, and reserve the right to reassign an expired number once its grace period has ended. We also cannot guarantee that any specific third-party service will accept a given number — that decision belongs to the receiving service.

5. Renewals and account balance

Numbers remain assigned to your account only while renewed, whether manually or via optional auto-renew from your wallet balance. Wallet balances have no cash value outside VNumbr and are non-transferable between accounts. See our Refund Policy for the specifics of when a refund applies.

6. Limitation of liability

VNumbr is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including inability to receive a verification code due to third-party platform restrictions outside our control.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
