Why yearly costs less
Each number carries a fixed cost from the carrier whether you use it heavily or not, so a longer commitment lets us charge less for every month of it. That is why the yearly plan is lower per month, and why we quote that lower figure first: it is the honest price of a number you intend to keep.
If you are unsure, start monthly. When you renew you can move to the yearly plan, and if the number turns out to guard something important, moving to yearly is also the easiest way to avoid forgetting a renewal.
Just need one code, not a monthly plan?
Everything above is a permanent number, billed monthly or yearly. For a single verification SMS instead, OTP numbers are billed per activation, from a few cents each.
Pricing questions
Why is the yearly plan shown as a per-month price?
Because it is the fairest way to compare. A yearly plan is billed once, but dividing it by twelve shows what each month really costs, which is lower than the monthly plan. The billed total is always shown next to it.
Are there any extra fees?
No setup fee and no per-message fee. You pay the plan price. Your crypto payment processor or network may charge its own transaction fee, which we do not control.
What happens when the period ends?
The number renews only if you renew it or have auto-renew switched on and enough wallet balance. Otherwise it lapses and is eventually released.
Can I change from monthly to yearly?
Renewals let you choose the plan length, so you can move to yearly the next time you renew. Prices are per country and plan, listed on each country page.
Which currencies can I pay in?
You pay in cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT and other coins) through Cryptomus or NOWPayments, or from a wallet balance that you top up in crypto. Prices are quoted in US dollars. Card and PayPal support isn't live yet, but it's coming.
Is there a refund?
Crypto payments cannot be reversed by us, but if a number fails to activate or cannot receive SMS because of an error on our side you are covered. The refund policy has the details.
