Our privacy commitment

Respecting your privacy is central to how VNumbr is built. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing or any other purpose beyond what is strictly required to operate the service. This includes the mobile network operators whose infrastructure delivers SMS to your number: they handle the technical routing of messages within their own network, but they are never given your name, your email address, your payment history, or any other account information. As far as they are concerned, they are simply operating a number they already allocated — nothing about who you are is disclosed to them.

What we collect

We minimize data collection by design. An account requires only an email address and password (or a Google sign-in). We do not require your name, physical address, or any government identification.

Payment data

We never see or store your cryptocurrency wallet details or private keys. Payments are processed by third-party gateways (Cryptomus, NOWPayments), which handle the transaction directly.

SMS content

Messages received by your virtual number are stored so you can view them in your dashboard. We do not read, sell, or share this content with anyone. It is visible only to you in your account.

Third parties

A small number of service providers help us run VNumbr: payment gateways to process crypto payments, and an email provider to send transactional emails. Each receives only the minimum data necessary to perform its specific function, is contractually bound to protect it, and is never permitted to use it for its own purposes. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for sign-in sessions and basic site functionality. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.

Your rights

You can request account deletion at any time via support, which removes your personal data from our systems except where retention is required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
