Buy a virtual number with cryptocurrency

Paying in crypto removes the card and the identity documents. It does not make you invisible, so here is what it changes.

Key points

  • You do not enter a card number or link a bank account.
  • Blockchain transactions are public, and the provider still sees your email and the messages your number receives.
  • Pay through Cryptomus or NOWPayments, which support a range of coins, or top up a wallet balance and spend from it, including for auto-renew and OTP numbers.
  • Send the exact amount on the network shown, and keep the transaction ID.

What crypto checkout changes

You do not enter a card number or link a bank account. You sign up with an email address, pay through a crypto gateway, and the number is activated when the payment confirms.

That removes a card statement line and an identity check from the process.

What it does not change

Blockchain transactions are public, and the provider still sees your email and the messages your number receives. Crypto payments also cannot be reversed by us once confirmed.

Do not rely on crypto alone for anonymity. Read the privacy policy of any provider.

How it works at VNumbr

Pay through Cryptomus or NOWPayments, which support a range of coins, or top up a wallet balance and spend from it, including for auto-renew and OTP numbers. Which coins appear depends on the gateway at checkout.

Card and PayPal support is planned but not yet available.

Tips

Send the exact amount on the network shown, and keep the transaction ID. If anything looks wrong, open a support ticket and we will help.

Step by step: paying with crypto

Choose a number, pick a crypto gateway at checkout, select a coin and send the exact amount to the address shown. The order confirms once the network confirms the transaction.

If you top up a wallet instead, the balance is credited when the payment confirms and can be spent on numbers, renewals and OTP activations.

Avoiding common payment problems

Send on the network shown, since sending on a different chain can lose funds. Include enough to cover network fees so the received amount matches the invoice.

Keep the transaction ID and contact support if a payment is late. Do not send a second payment before checking.

Common questions

Which coins can I use?

It depends on the gateway at checkout, which supports a range of coins including Bitcoin and USDT.

Is it anonymous?

Not fully. It removes card and ID steps only.

Can I get a refund in crypto?

Refunds are credited to your wallet balance, not sent to an address.

Do I need an account?

Yes, email-only signup.

Are VNumbr numbers real mobile numbers?

Yes. They are allocated on real mobile carrier networks rather than internet-based VoIP pools. Each app decides for itself which numbers it accepts, so no provider can guarantee a specific result.

How do I pay, and do I need ID?

Pay with cryptocurrency through Cryptomus or NOWPayments, or from a wallet balance. Signup needs only an email address and no identity documents.

What is the difference between a permanent number and an OTP number?

A permanent number is billed monthly or yearly and stays assigned to you for as long as you renew it. An OTP number is billed per activation and receives a single code before it is released.

Only need one code, not a number to keep?

This guide is about VNumbr's permanent numbers. For a single sign-up instead, VNumbr also sells OTP numbers billed per activation.
